So here’s the deal: Parisa has some ability to reshape zeir body or make clones of zemself (BTW I’m giving Parisa ze/zem/zeir pronouns (I hope I’m doing this right!)). Usually ze and zeir clones share a single mind, but occasionally the clones develop minds of their own, and ze has to try to rein them in.

In this case, Parisa has already planned to clone zemself later for a particular occasion, so ze has a clone “in reserve” so to speak, but the clone has gotten impatient and has started to emerge out of zeir body on zeir own.

I hope that makes sense.
