Here’s what we know about Darrin: He works in the mail room at Bison Bros.,he plays drums in a punk band, he hangs out almost every day at the gym, and he was one of the first employees to use the cursed copier, using it to print flyers for his band.
He’s also generally indifferent, if not outright rude to everyone he works with. Except Patton, for some reason. They seem to have a kind of unique chemistry going and can often be seen working out at the gym together. It leadsone to wonder what else is going on between them…
Well, Christmas may be over, but it’s only *checks calendar* six days until New Year’s Day! So here’s to a happy 2012.
BTW, don’t drink the green stuff.
Lavafoxes glow on the inside. And now you know. You’re welcome.
Just a coloration idea I’ve been kicking around
Anyone else think of Radiohead’s "Climbing Up the Walls" when looking at this?
Lavafox and multifox sketches.

Mountain Dew and Taquitos are my beer and cigarettes.
Sometimes Kobi gets a bit of a "mean streak".
Something I did back when it was warm enough to play outside.
Usually this is followed by me tripping, throwing the ball into the bushes, and slamming my face into the post.
Another weird character design.
For the record: in the Metroburg universe, there are two classes ofmulti-headed dogs: the orthrids, (named for Orthrus, the two-headed dog of Greek mythology), and the cerberids (three heads, named for Orthrus’ more famous brother/cousin/father/we’re-not-really-sure-anymore, Cerberus).
Working on some facial expressions
Commission for Darkwing Dork of his six-armed outlaw horse character
Semi-independent taurbodies can be a real bitch to buy food for.
Tonight we study the effects of rainbows on the elderly.
Japheth Bessmore, liontaur, defensive end for the Ft. Barrett Psychos
He looks like he could use a running partner.
Commission for zhirvolk at Fur Affinity.
Matu again, running from something.
Evelyn Y’siwgle, a dragon. Another character for the "Steve of Space" saga. Specializes in diplomacy, whatever that means. Also, I got her name pretty much from mashing the keyboard until I got something suitably reptilian and pseudo-high-fantasy-ish. I like it.
I wanted to show what it looks like when Kobi adds appendages or otherwise modifies his body in some way. There’s a brief glimpse of the lava doing itswork, although it’s not always this dramatic.
Another quickie
I don’t think I got what I was going for, but I like the faces. Mostly.
Five heads, all talking at once. That’s got to be annoying.
Valmont Cyrus Clarke, father of Madison Blades frontcat Koren Clarke. Celebrity defense attorney, retired. Probably best known for his defense in the murder trial of Lafayette Black Shoes running back Jermaine Hinsley. Speakswith a heavy Georgia accent.
Hinklethorne is one of the most prestigious performing arts schools in the Metroburg universe. It is here that Rachel goes to study vocal mimicry underthe legendary lyrebird, Ms. Vivian Pendergrass. From there, well, things get quite interesting.
These are just a few of her old schoolmates.
I started this back in 2007, and just now got it finished.
This is a badge for Threetails, a friend, author, and fox enthusiast.
A ten-armed red panda-pillar-thing, going over some notes. Possibly another DUPES agent.
A commission for Tazel, whose character (the four-armed purple vixen) is a player in the Furry Basketball Association. Here, she’s given Dat Mongoste, a mongoose who has always been renowned for hisball-stealing skills, a taste of his own medicine. Which he does not like. At all.

Yet another bit character. A Saint Bernard taur.
A human DUPES agent who was accidentally transformed by a blast of magic from a discarded duffel bag. Typical workplace hazard. I think they’re supposed to give you a hat for that or something.
Dennis Frankelstein, a menacing, domineering, indecisive middle manager.
I figured I needed a new badge to showcase the recent changes I’ve made to Kobi’s appearance.
This is for Redacteur.
His name is Redacteur.
That name again is Redacteur!
RE-DAC-TEUR!
A stressed-out dalmatian lady who is always complaining about her splitting headaches.
SEE? IT’S A JOKE, GET IT?! GET IT?!! "SPLITTING" HEADACHE! IT’S A PUN! EVERYTIME SHE GETS A HEADACHE SHE GROWS ANOTH–oh, screw it.
A couple more characters for the multifurry office. Three times the arms means three times the sexual harassment suits.
Pretty much What It Says on the Tin.
No, this is not a pitch for a new ABC sitcom. And no, Paul is not secretlygay for Dave…okay, maybe a little.
Some characters you’ve seen before, some you haven’t. Unless you have. Inwhich case, nevermind.
Free to good home. Well-trained but a bit clumsy. Loves people.
Half spider, half dog. Works as a librarian. Loves Chinese food.
This is an early design for this character, which I later rejected in favorof a design more like a jumping spider, something squatter and puffier. I stilllike this drawing, though.
Sidney Steven Augustus, renegade starship captain, weapons and techsmuggler, arrogant bastard, world’s luckiest moron. A classic case of dumb luckmistaken for genius.
I remember seeing this movie last year and being put off by the "taxidermycome to life" animation style. So this my Mr. Fox, running down an Englishcountry road with his latest steal.
So here’s some random stuff I did one day. Carl and Brian discuss a recentincident, some human/deer hybrid guy, and some attempts at drawing Carl andBrian in early ’50s Disney style. Which really didn’t work at all.
Patton Sharpe, a husky, and his girlfriend, a border collie. Patton was amaintenance man at an office building when he suffered a mishap with a cursedcopying machine. This gave him the ability to copy body parts or even makecopies of himself. Unfortunately, it’s not always controllable. If any part ofhis body is jerked too quickly, something like this might happen.

Character design for "Steve of Space". J.B. is an advanced physics studentat a university run by the Future Realizations Council when he begins to have doubts about the council’s intentions. He leaves the university to join up with Steve, which infuriates the Council, believing that Steve has kidnapped J.B., which is technically true, but that’s another story. J.B. becomes good friends with Steve and an invaluable member of his crew.
A few fun facts about J.B.:
A little tribute to a very funny sketch comedy supergroup.
